Revenues from mobile communications and information services in Azerbaijan grew from January through September 2021, Trend reports on Oct.20 referring to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this figure amounted to almost 1.7 billion manat ($1 million), up 5.7 percent compared to the first nine months of 2020.
The committee also noted that 723.6 million manat ($425.6 million) or 42.6 percent of the revenues, accounted for the telecommunications market (mobile communication operators).
Some 76 percent of the total volume of communication and information services accounted for the services rendered to the population. At the same time, nearly 81 percent of the income received in the sector fell to private enterprises.
