The income of Azerbaijan’s Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $2 million in January 2022, Trend reports referring to Export Review of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
The share of export of services in the total income of the company amounted to 83 percent in January 2022.
During the reporting period, Azercosmos exported satellite and telecommunication services to the UK ($0.5 million), US ($0.4 million), France ($0.4 million), UAE ($0.2 million) and Pakistan ($0.1 million).
The company exported services to 29 countries in January 2022.
Azercosmos owns two communications satellites, namely, Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as Azersky low-orbit satellite.
The income of Azercosmos company from the export of satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $45.1 million in 2020, which is by four percent more than in 2019.
