BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 2. Azerbaijani Azercosmos' OJSC income from the export of satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $26.6 million in 2022, the country's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told Trend.

The export of services accounted for 82 percent of the total income of the company.

During the reporting period, Azercosmos OJSC exported satellite and telecommunication services to the UK ($6.5 million), France ($6 million), Luxembourg ($4.3 million), UAE ($2.2 million), and Pakistan ($1.5 million).

In December 2022, the satellite operator exported services worth $2.3 million to 36 countries in total.

The company owns two communication satellites – Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as the low-orbit Azersky satellite.

In 2021, the receipts of Azercosmos from the export of satellite and telecommunications services settled at $45.3 million in 2021, which was $200,000 more than in 2020.
