Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. S. Babayeva/ Azerbaijan is expected to take part in the meeting of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication on Telecommunications. According to the the Azerbaijan Telecommunication and IT Ministry, during the forthcoming joint meeting of the Council of Operators of Telecommunkications of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication, Mazahir Guliyev, the Chief Specialist of PA "Aztelekom" is expected to take part.
The agenda of the forthcoming meeting to be held in Bishkek on May 3-4, 2007 includes issues connected with affiliation of new members to the Council of Operators of Telecommunications of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication, election of the Chairman of the Telecommunications Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication, as well as optimization of commercial and technical conditions on coordination among the operators of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication, and works carried out on installation the network of international service telecommunication.
In addition, the implementation of projects on installation of NGN (New Generation Network) networks in member-states of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication, as well as mutual calculation among the telecommunication operators of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication (CIS) for international telecommunication services rendered within CIS coutries.
Notably, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine are the full members of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication.
A delegation representing the Azerbaijan Telecommunication and IT Ministry is taking part in joint meetings of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Telecommunication, Satellite Telecommunication, TV, and Broadcasting. The Commissions of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Telecommunication on issues with the regulation of using the frequency spectrum and electric magnetic compatibility of radio and electronic means, a source in the Azerbaijan Telecommunication Ministry has said today. The meetings are held in Bishkek from April 3 till April 5.
Azerbaijani specialists have elaborated proposals on the preparation for the World Conference of Wireless Communication on presenting frequencies in accordance with 3G technologies and some other technical issues, which are included in the agenda of the existing meetings.
