Price of Chevrolet cars manufactured in Uzbekistan increases

Chevrolet's Spark, Cobalt and Lacetti cars produced by Uzbek company UzAuto Motors have risen in price since the beginning of 2020 due to equipping the models with additional options in accordance with international technical regulations, Trend reports with reference to UzAuto Motors company.
The most significant change in prices touched modifications of sedan Lacetti, which rose in price by 528,000 soums ($55). The price of Cobalt rose by 50,000 soums ($5.2).
As for additional options,they include installation of fog lights, including those used in the daytime, audio systems, equipping a car with a USB port and the ability to connect external devices via Bluetooth.
Price increase due to installation of additional options is stipulated in paragraph 2.4 of the contract of sale concluded between the dealer and the consumer. According to the terms of the contract, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the deal, or pay the price difference or exchange the purchase for a car of another model or modification.
In January of this year it was reported that UzAuto Motors Company started to equip its cars with additions for people with disabilities.
Installation of such equipment is carried out in dealer centers on customer request, but only on Spark, Cobalt and Gentra.
Earlier it was also reported that UzAuto Motors will stop selling cars under Ravon brand by by mid-2020.
