Uzbekistan plans to set up modern trading and service points under the recently commissioned Tashkent overground ring metro line, Trend reports via Kun.uz.
“From worldwide experience, we learned about the creation of such complexes in Berlin, Tokyo, and Zurich. Based on this, in the interval between the first and second stations, starting from the first intersection, we divided the 11-kilometer territory into six lots. As a result, places with a total area of 153,161 m2 have been created for entrepreneurs,” said governor of Yashnabad region Bakhtiyor Rakhmonkulov.
The type of facilities to be created in the lower part of the Tashkent overground ring metro line will depend on proposals from entrepreneurs.
Based on the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers on measures to further improve the procedures for the provision of free land plots for entrepreneurial and urban planning activities, the auction will be carried out through ERELECTRON automated information system.
Bidding will be organized openly and transparently. Any entrepreneur can participate in them and present their projects.
Bidding is expected to start on December 1.
