Turkish MNG Airlines receives permission to operate regular cargo flights to Uzbekistan

The Turkish airline MNG Airlines has received permission to operate regular cargo flights to Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

On the basis of the Agreement between the government of Uzbekistan and the government of Turkey on air traffic, the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan (Uzaviation) issued MNG Airlines with operational permit No. 98-K dated May 26, 2021, for performing regular cargo flights to Uzbekistan on the Istanbul-Navoi-Istanbul route.

It is noted that the airline will transport goods on Airbus 300-600, Airbus 330-200, and Airbus 330-300 aircraft.

In April, Uzaviation Agency Uzaviation issued a permit to Turkish Airlines to operate regular flights in the direction of Istanbul - Urgench - Istanbul and Istanbul - Fergana - Istanbul.

Also, Uzbekistan Airlines launched regular flights on the Urgench - Istanbul route. It was noted that flights from Urgench to Istanbul operate on Sundays.

In addition, starting From April 3, regular flights from Fergana to Istanbul have been launched.

In early February, the Egyptian airline Fly Egypt received permission to operate passenger flights to the cities of Uzbekistan. The company operates regular flights to Cairo - Tashkent and Sharm el Sheikh - Tashkent routes.
