According to the amendment of the parliament to Car Import bill, anyone who can export cars or car parts can import cars into the country, the Spokesperson of the Industry and Mine Commission of the Iran Parliament said, Trend reports.
“The Car Market Organization Bill was approved by the former parliament and referred to the Guardian Council,” Abbaspour said.
The bill was returned to the Industries Commission for amendment, he noted.
According to the parliamentary amendment to this plan, he says that anyone who can export cars or car parts can import cars.
“The import of hybrid and electric cars will be allowed,” said Abbaspour.
Responding to whether there is the necessary infrastructure in the country for the import of electric and hybrid cars, he says there must be grounds for the import of hybrid cars.
"The tariff rate for the import of those cars is not mentioned in the plan and has not been predicted."
