Iran’s PMO declares data on load/unload operations in Jask Port

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 19

A total of 30,400 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 23 through September 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

This is an increase of 17.6 percent compared to the 5th month of the current Iranian year (June 23 through August 22, 2021).

According to the statistics, 23,000 tons of cargo were exported and 7,440 tons were imported through the Jask port over the 6th month.

“About 22,800 tons of essential products, and 7,670 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port in the sixth month of the current Iranian year,” the statistics said.

As reported, about 11.3 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the sixth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.98 million tons were loaded and 5.35 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 2 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
