Azerbaijan imported 72,900 vehicles in 10M2021, which is 41.25 percent, or 30,075 more than in the same period last year, Trend reports citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the Committee, the bulk of imports fell on cars - 68,024, which is 41.4 percent, or 28,351 more than the same period in 2020. Of them, 186 vehicles with a capacity of 10 people and more, 106 electric vehicles and 10,033 hybrid vehicles were imported.
Also, imports of hybrid vehicles increased by 1.47 times, or by 5,977 compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, the number of imported trucks increased by 40.82 percent over the year and reached 4,571.
It is reported that Azerbaijan imported cars for $744.379 million in 10M2021.
