BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded at the Jask port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran), decreased by 21.4 percent in the 11th month of the current Iranian year (January 21 through February 19, 2023), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, 8,420 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port in the 11th month. Of this, 6,220 tons were loaded and 2,200 tons were unloaded.

Of that, 6,210 tons were exported and 394 tons were imported through the Jask port over the 11th month.

Also, 1,800 tons of cargo were unloaded at the port for other purposes within the mentioned month.

Some 6,400 tons of essential products, 139 tons of construction and mining materials, and 1,880 tons of small and assorted goods were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port in the 11th month of the current Iranian year.

In total, approximately 12.8 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 11th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.9 million tons were loaded and 5.88 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 1.37 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
