Auto industry investments in Kazakhstan’s fixed capital increase

Cars worth 101.4 billion tenges were produced in Kazakhstan during the nine months of 2017.

As a result of the reporting period, 13,312 vehicles (including cars and trucks, buses, special vehicles and trailers) were produced in Kazakhstan, the press service of KazAvtoProm reported.

The production of cars increased by 3.9 times, while the production of buses rose by 4.5 times as compared to the same period of 2016.

At the same time, the production of trucks fell by 20.4 percent.

Lada, Hyundai, KIA, Chevrolet and JAC became the five most popular car brands in Kazakhstan in January-September 2017.

As of September 28, 2017, participants of the state program on preferential auto loans purchased 1,047 cars during the period.

Investments of companies of the auto industry in fixed assets reached 3.6 billion tenges in January-September 2017 as compared to 1.3 billion tenges in 2016.
