A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov will take part in the 16th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), to be held on November 30-December 1 in Sochi, Russia.
The heads of the governments of India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will exchange views on the current situation in the region and in the world, discuss a wide range of issues of further economic and humanitarian cooperation, the implementation of the Action Plan on Multilateral Trade Program, economic cooperation of the SCO member states, and other issues on the agenda.
The Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a message Nov. 29 that representatives of observer countries – Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran and Mongolia - as well as heads of the Secretariat, the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS), the Business Council, and the Interbank Association of the SCO, and a number of international and regional organizations will also participate in the meeting.
