Law enforcement agencies will conduct an internal investigation of Vladislav Chelakh's testimonies, suspected of killing 15 people on Kazakh-Chinese border, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to Chelakh's lawyer Tolegen Berlikozhanov.

Earlier Chelakh said he confessed the murder of 14 guards and one hunter on Arkankergen border post due to psychological pressure.

"We plan to meet with an investigator next week and submit our application on Chelakh's testimonies on psychological pressure. The investigators should conduct an internal investigation on these testimonies without fail," Berlikozhanov said.

According to the lawyer, the police have not commented Chelakh's testimonies yet.

On May 30 a fire took place on Arkankergen border post on Kazakh-Chinese border. In summer 15 frontier guards serve at this post. Some 15 corpses were founded at the scene including 14 border guards and a hunter from the nearby hunting ground located near the post. The fifteenth border guard was found alive near the post. Later border guard Vladislav Chelakh confessed that he killed his colleagues when they were asleep and then set fire to the barracks, where they were, the Kazakh Prosecutor General's Office reported. Chelakh named internal conflicts and clouding of consciousness as the reason of killing his colleagues. The investigation is underway.
