Kazakhstan will take all necessary measures to ensure full security during the exhibition EXPO-2017, Chairman of the Board of National Company Astana EXPO-2017 JSC Talgat Yermegiyaev told Trend.

"The principle of security of the participants, visitors of the exhibition, the press and service staff dominates at such events," said Yermegiyaev.

He said that the concept of ensuring security, law and order during the preparation and holding of EXPO-2017 in Astana and the corresponding plan of its implementation have been developed to date.

An operative headquarters of representatives of all law enforcement and special bodies has been created, specific activities have been outlined, the whole area of EXPO has been fenced, surveillance system is being installed, security guards posted.

All visitors of the exhibition will undergo identification and examination in order to ensure the safety.

"It is planed to install the most advanced security systems," said Yermegiyayev.

He said a building was designed and is under construction for accommodation of a territorial division of the interior ministry's bodies within the exposition complex's boundaries,

Yermegiyayev added that it is also planned to create a modern operative control center that will make it possible to cover the entire territory of the complex with video surveillance.

Aside from that, he said, given a large number of visitors, including the foreign visitors, training courses are envisaged for the staff, ensuring the rule of law.

Yermegiyayev said those employees are being additionally taught to respond in emergency situations, to work with modern technical means, as well as the codes of conduct at public events.

Meanwhile, Yermegiyayev said that there will be no entry restrictions from other countries to Kazakhstan during the exhibition.

The International Specialized Exhibition EXPO will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan for the first time from June 10 to Sep.10, 2017. The theme of the exhibition is the 'Energy of the Future'.

Astana EXPO-2017 national company, created in 2013 is aimed at carrying out preparations and holding the EXPO-2017 exhibition. The use and operation of EXPO-2017 facilities following the exhibition, is also among the main purposes of the company.
