Russia has started supplying Su- 30SM fighter aircrafts to Kazakhstan in 2015, RIA Novosti reported.
The parties have already signed a contract for four Su- 30SM fighter aircraft, head of delegation of Irkut Corporation Victor Lichaev said at the arms exhibition in Rio de Janeiro.
"The deliveries have already started. The first two fighter aircrafts have already been shipped, two more will be supplied in the near future. These fighter aircraft will take part in the parade in Kazakhstan this year," he said.
Lichaev said that Kazakhstan plans to increase the purchases of aircraft like Su-30SM.
Su-30SM is a specialized version of the thrust-vectoring Su-30MKM and MKI options for the Russian military, produced by the Irkut Corporation. On 21 September 2012 Su-30SM performed its maiden flight.
