Plane crashes in Kazakhstan, killing everybody on board
An Antonov An-28 plane fell near Almaty, Ruslan Imankulov, a spokesman of the Emergency Situations Committee of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, told RIA Novosti.
All the people on board the aircraft died.
Earlier, the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry for Investments and Development of Kazakhstan said that the Antonov An-28 plane of the East Wing airline, which was carrying out a flight on the Almaty-Shymkent route, disappeared from radars at 18:47 (GMT + 6) 28 kilometers from Almaty. Five people were on board the plane.
