BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17
By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:
Kyrgyzstan has lifted the temporary restrictions on import of poultry meat and poultry products from Kazakhstan, Trend reports citing Kazakh Agriculture Ministry.
The decision was made due to the measures taken to localize highly pathogenic poultry influenza, as well as in connection with the stabilization of the epizootic situation in Kazakhstan.
Thus, poultry products from Akmola, Almaty (Karasay region), Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan regions of Kazakhstan are allowed to be imported into Kyrgyzstan.
The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $256 million from January through April 2021, compared to $238.6 million during the same period of 2020.
During the reporting period, the main articles of Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan trade turnover were food products, agricultural products, as well as products of the chemical industry.
