BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. Around 43.2 billion cubic meters of gas were transported via the Central Asia-China pipeline in 2022, Trend reports, citing Chinese media.
Currently the pipeline transports around 100 million cubic meters of gas per day. By the end of 2022, China received 423.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas since the start of the operations in 2009.
The pipeline passes through Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and China, before it links p with China's West-to-East Gas Pipeline in Horgos.
The overall length of the pipeline is 1,833 kilometers. The pipeline is capable of transporting a maximum of 55 billion cubic meters per annum.
