Kazakhstan, Poland to build two fish feed production plants

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Kazakh Invest national company and SENEKA Poland feed production company signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the construction of two fish feed production plants, Trend reports.

The document was signed following the 9th session of the Kazakh-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. The estimated cost of the project will total 100 million euros.

Representatives from various ministries and agencies of both Poland and Kazakhstan took part in the Intergovernmental Commission meeting. The session focused on discussing the expansion of mutual trade, the implementation of collaborative investment projects, and cooperation in several key sectors such as small and medium-sized enterprises, transportation, agriculture, food industry, construction, machinery, pharmaceuticals, finance, education, and tourism.

It was noted during the session that Kazakhstan is Poland's leading partner in Central Asia. Furthermore, the Polish side underlined Poland's intention to further enhance trade and economic cooperation with Kazakhstan.

Along with the above-mentioned memorandum, a number of other documents were also signed following the session.
