ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 29. Consul General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul Nuriddin Amankul during his visit to the provinces of Zonguldak and Bartin (Türkiye) held productive bilateral meetings with the heads of local executive bodies, security and migration agencies, Trend reports.
The Turkish side expressed its intentions to comprehensively strengthen bilateral cooperation in various areas and reported its readiness to provide appropriate assistance.
In the direction of economic diplomacy, bilateral negotiations were held with the leadership of the Zonguldak Chamber of Commerce and Industry and 9 companies from these provinces that have high investment potential.
Based on the results of the meetings, Turkish companies will soon begin developing new projects in Kazakhstan to invest in the production of radiators, aluminum products, sanitary ware and drinking water.
From 2010 to 2022, trade and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Türkiye strengthened 3.4 times, reaching $6.3 billion. The main growth occurred in the last two years, almost doubling since 2020.
In the structure of trade with Türkiye, about 75 percent is occupied by exports from Kazakhstan - $4.8 billion, where the main goods are oil and oil products, copper, zinc, aluminum, lead, etc.
