ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 17. Kazakh and Kyrgyz businessmen have signed commercial documents totaling $300 million, Trend reports, citing the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

The signing took place within the framework of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz business forum, which was held on April 17 in Astana.

By signing commercial documents, the parties confirmed their intentions to implement projects in the field of the construction of solar power plants, a ferroalloy plant, and a distribution center in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

Notably, the forum was attended by companies engaged in the fields of mechanical engineering, industry, metallurgy, construction, logistics, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, investment, and services.

Meanwhile, the volume of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1.6 billion, which is 26 percent more than the previous year.

The share of Kazakhstani exports is almost 69 percent, or $1.1 billion (an increase of 35.8 percent). Imports - $495.2 million (an increase of 9 percent).
