ASTANA, Kazakhstan, 31 May. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trend reports via the Kazakh president's office.
During the talks, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakh-Russian cooperation, noting its progressive development in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
President Tokayev highly appreciated the well-coordinated interaction between the governments of the two countries on the implementation of the agreements reached in trade-economic, investment-industrial, and cultural-humanitarian areas.
The presidents also talked about current international challenges and planned their schedules for future meetings.
