ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 22. Arman Kassenov has become the General Director of KazTransOil (the national operator of Kazakhstan's main oil pipeline), Trend reports.

According to the information, the corresponding decision was made by the Board of Directors of “KazTransOil” on July 22.

Prior to this appointment, Arman Kassenov was deputy chairman of the marketing board of QazaqGaz (the national company of Kazakhstan).

Meanwhile, the decision of the Board of Directors of “KazTransOil” JSC on July 22, 2024, early terminated the powers of Talgat Kurmanbaev as General Director (Chairman of the Board) of "KazTransOil". In addition, on his initiative, Talgat Kurmanbaev was expelled from the Board of Directors of “KazTransOil” on July 22, 2024.

Taking into account the changes made, the Board of “KazTransOil” consists of the General Director (Chairman of the Board) Arman Kassenov, members of the Board - Deputy General Director for Production Temirkhan Abdirov, Deputy General Director for Transportation Eric Sagiev, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance Amirzhan Ospanov, Deputy General Director for Corporate Governance Almas Ungarsynov, Managing Director for Social and Labor Relations and General Affairs Gaziz Koshanov, Managing Director of "KazTransOil".

Furthermore, the Board of Directors of “KazTransOil” includes the Chairman of the Board of Directors, a representative of “KazMunayGas” (a national oil and gas company), Bulat Zakirov, members of the Board of Directors - representative of "KazMunayGas” Ardak Kasymbek, independent director Kazbek Kusainov, independent director Adrian Freycinet, and independent director Miller Timothy Glen.

To note, "KazTransOil" is the national operator of the main oil pipeline in Kazakhstan. The company is part of the JSC “KazMunaiGas” and owns a diversified network of trunk oil pipelines with a length of 5,400 kilometers.
