Omurbek Tekebayev advises the Government of Kyrgyzstan to reach an agreement both with Manas fuel filling complex and US officials, 24.kg reported. He had made such statement at the session of Ata Meken faction after he heard report about further personnel development system of the educational institutions.
Deputy Omurbek Abdyrakhmanov noted that imposition of excise duty at the rate of $100 per every ton of fuel will bring additional $30-40 millions for teachers. "The Government was against that. But now we are saying that this duty must be imposed anyway."
In his turn deputy Omurbek Tekebayev stated that if deputies support this suggestion today the faction will officially apply to the Government. "Members of our Government and Roza Isakovna risked when they put pressure on the USA, Hillary Clinton and Pentagon forcing them to share with Kyrgyzstan in matters of fuel supply to the military base. A big work was done. Fuel filling complex CJSC works for 5 years and just changes names. They are operating within civil airlines. The nephew of one high official is sitting there. They, according to my information, earn $10 millions per year. If we will force to pay excise duty let him share. We will earn additional 500 million soms. We ask to direct very hundredth to render methodic assistance to teachers. This is misery, ridiculous money. Let's apply to the Government: if they pressed for Pentagon let them come to an agreement with this person," he noted.
