Kyrgyzstan shares data on electricity imports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. The volume of electricity supplies from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Kyrgystan was announced during the parliamentary session, Trend reports citing the press service of the Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyzstan received 712.5 million kWh of electricity out of a planned 900 million kWh from the energy system of Kazakhstan, from March to December 2022.

The Deputy Minister of Energy and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Tilek Aitaliev noted that Electric Stations OJSC and Kazakhstan signed contracts for the sale in the amount of 450 million kWh from March to April 2022. To date, 163 million kWh have been supplied out of a planned 200 million kWh.

Turkmenistan exported to Kyrgyzstan 346 million kWh of electricity from the planned 370 million kWh, whereas Uzbekistan exported 504.4 million kWh of electricity out of a planned 750 million kWh.
