BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 1. Kyrgyzstan encourages Emirate companies to invest in the country's priority sectors, such as energy, industry, agriculture, tourism, and healthcare, Trend reports via the National Investments Agency of Kyrgyzstan.

Director of the National Investment Agency Ravshanbek Sabirov during the Kyrgyz-Emirates business forum noted that :

"Kyrgyzstan is presently concentrating on improving the attractiveness of the business climate, which is based on a number of changes made in the country, including greater competitiveness and reforming the business environment's principles," Ravshanbek Sabirov said.

According to him, in order to create a favorable investment climate, the president signed a decree on protecting property and supporting entrepreneurs and investors.

“Today, the Emirati company Masdar expresses an active interest in the implementation of a project for the construction of a solar station with a capacity of 200 megawatts in Kyrgyzstan”, Sabirov said.

As a result of the B2B meetings, contracts were signed for the supply of meat and honey in the amount of $11 million, as well as Memorandums of Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and the UAE on the establishment of a joint Kyrgyz-Emirati Business Council.
