The net profit of Kyrgyzstan's State Mortgage Company at the end of June 2022 amounted to 83.5 million soums ($1 million), which is 2.5 times more than in the same period of 2021 (33.2 million soums or $399,855).
According to financial experts, the growth in net profit in the reporting period was mainly due to an increase in interest income.
Interest income is State Mortgage Company's primary source of income, which amounted to 89,7 million soums ($1 million), non-interest income - 34,7 million soums ($417,563), foreign exchange transactions - 1,5 million soums ($18,799).
Meanwhile, in mid-June it was announced that the State Mortgage Company allocated 200 million soums ($2.4 million) to finance the construction of houses in the border villages of the Batken region.
