BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 29. Kyrgyzstan is currently arranging exports of potatoes to Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.

Within the framework of the Memorandum on supply of fruits and vegetables signed between the Ministries of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on September 9, 2022, in Bishkek, 15,000 tons of potatoes will be sent from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry, 15,000 tons of potatoes will be shipped from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan within the framework of the memorandum on fruits and vegetable supply, which was signed between the Ministries of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on September 9, 2022, in Bishkek.

"The Ministry held talks with representatives of large retail chains of Kazakhstan "Altyn Orda", "Kaz Trade" and "Lion fruits" on the supply of potatoes to Kazakhstan," the report says.

As reported, a total of 115 tons of potatoes were sent from the Issyk-Kul region to Kazakhstan on September 21, 2022.

In addition, the Ministry also noted that negotiations are currently underway with Uzbekistan and Russia's Krasnodar Krai on the supply of agricultural products.
