BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. Kyrgyz Electricity Settlement Center has published the latest data on the volume of electricity imports from Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the center's press service.
According to statistical data, Kyrgyzstan from January through October 2022 imported 1.2 billion kWh of electricity from Uzbekistan.
Overall, the total volume of Kyrgyz electricity imports in the reporting period amounted to 2.6 billion kWh.
"During this period, Kyrgyzstan also imported 780.7 million kWh of electricity from Turkmenistan, and 580 million kWh from Kazakhstan," the report says.
Meanwhile, according to the data of the Kyrgyz Electricity Settlement Center, for comparison, for the whole of 2021, the country imported 1.7 billion kWh of electricity.
