BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. The inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan is expected to fall in the coming year, Trend reports referring to the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).

The EDB notes that annual inflation in Kyrgyzstan was 14.5 percent in November 2022, but according to the bank's projections this figure may fall to 5.2 percent in the coming year.

Notably, the inflation in Kyrgyzstan is expected to be one of the lowest among the EDB member countries. In Armenia, inflation is projected at 4.6 percent, Belarus - 8 percent, Kazakhstan - 7.8 percent, Russia and Tajikistan - at 6 percent.

In addition, the EDB experts forecast Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth to be 3.5 percent in 2023.
