BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. The volume of Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product (GDP) from January through May 2023, according to preliminary estimates, amounted to more than 355 billion soms ($4.05 billion), Trend reports.
According to official data of Kyrgyzstan, during the reporting period, Kyrgyzstan's GDP increased by 3.4 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
Furthermore, according to official information, Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth is also provided by an increase in industrial production by 1.2 percent, to 165 billion soms (1.88 billion dollars).
Meanwhile, the largest contribution to the country's industrial production was made by textile production — by 29.2 percent and the pharmaceutical industry — by 25.7 percent.
