BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. Germany is ready to share its experience in the field of renewable energy with Kyrgyzstan, President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier said at the meeting with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov during his official visit to Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
"Germany is ready to provide comprehensive support to Kyrgyzstan and further share its experience in the field of renewable energy sources. Your country has very favorable conditions for this," said Steinmeier.
According to the German president, Kyrgyzstan, and Germany have over 30 years of stable and dynamically evolving relations. Evidence of this is the bilateral visits that take place not only at the level of presidents, as they have occurred in previous years, but also at the level of ministers of both countries.
In turn, the president of Kyrgyzstan pointed out that there is substantial potential in the country for renewable energy sources.
“The advancements and technologies of Germany in this field are highly appealing to the Kyrgyz side. Kyrgyzstan is particularly interested in German technologies related to green hydrogen production, which is recognized as the fuel of the future,” Japarov said.
He pointed out that with its abundant water resources and access to advanced German technologies, Kyrgyzstan has the capacity to engage in green hydrogen production.
