BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. Concrete Canvas, a UK-based building material company, is currently working with partners to investigate the establishment of a regional production site in Kyrgyzstan, Peter Brewin, Director at Concrete Canvas told Trend.

The proposed facility will make GCCMs (geosynthetic cementitious composite mats), a novel class of composite materials created by Concrete Canvas. Globally, this technique finds uses in water management, such as channel lining and erosion control, mainly in civil engineering and the mining sector.

As to the source, Concrete Canvas' technology enables work to be accomplished to a high, lasting standard, cost-effectively, and far faster than conventional procedures.

It was underlined that Kyrgyzstan offers tremendous prospects for enhancing water transportation infrastructure and mining growth. Once operating, the facility wants to hire Kyrgyz workers. Concrete Canvas also collaborates with Kyrgyz enterprises like the Integra Engineering Group.

As attested by the source, the construction of a manufacturing base in Kyrgyzstan is expected to facilitate exports around the area while also supporting nearby mining ventures.

A meeting recently took place in Cardiff between the Chairman of Kyrgyzstan's Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration, Akylbek Japarov, and another director of Concrete Canvas, Will Crawford.

Crawford briefed the Kyrgyz group on the factory's operational activities. Representatives of the corporation showed an interest in working closely with the Kyrgyz side and stated their willingness to establish production in Kyrgyzstan.

In turn, Japarov stated that the Kyrgyz government is willing to assist and encourage possible investors.
