BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. Tajikistan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) outlined the priorities for further cooperation, Trend reports via Tajikistan’s Committee for Environmental Protection.
Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection Bahodur Sheralizoda met with the ADB Senior Climate Change Specialist Kate Hughes to discuss future cooperation prospective between Tajikistan and ADB.
During the meeting, issues of the implementation of current joint projects, main priorities for further cooperation, the range of national measures taken to mitigate climate change were considered.
In addition, other areas of collaboration are being worked on, including Tajikistan's preparations for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change's 27th Conference, which will be held in Egypt in November 2022.
