BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 24. The total volume of Tajik aluminum exports amounted to 26,288 tons from January through May 2022, Trend reports with the reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
According to the Customs, the value of aluminum exports from Tajikistan in the first five months of this year totaled $81.7 million.
Aluminum is one of the main export commodities of Tajikistan. In addition, the country also supplies precious metals, ores, cotton, dried fruits to China, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Turkiye etc.
Meanwhile, the total amount of exports of goods from Tajikistan amounted to $1 billion, which is 5.5 percent less compared to the same period of last year ($947 million).
