BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. Tajikistan increased supplies of dried fruits to Russia from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
According to statistics, Tajik exports of dried fruits to Russia in the first half amounted to $6 million, which is almost a twofold increase compared to the same period of 2021 ($3.2 million).
Overall, from January through June of this year, Tajikistan exported dried fruits worth $12.9 million.
Russia during this period became the main importer of dried fruits from Tajikistan, followed by Kazakhstan ($4.2 million).
Meanwhile, the total value of Tajik exports to Russia reached $43.8 million, which is an increase of 61 percent compared to the same period of last year ($27.2 million).
