BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Tajikistan’s import of chemicals and related products from Georgia has registered a notable increase year-on-year in the period from January through March 2023, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

During the specified period, Tajikistan imported Georgian chemicals and related products for $911,480, which is almost two times or $452,070 more than in 1Q2022 ($459,411).

According to the statistical data, Tajikistan imported from Georgia chemicals for $362,150 in March 2023, which is 1.1 times more than in March last year ($314,930).

Back in February this year, the value of Tajikistan’s imports of chemical products from Georgia amounted to $546,600, and in January - to $2,650.

Overall, the value of Tajikistan’s imports from Georgia reached $9.8 million in 1Q2023, which is 3.7 times or $7.2 million more than in 1Q2022 ($2.6 million).

Tajikistan's imports from Georgia in March this year amounted to $3.3 million, in February - to $3.7 million, and in January - to $2.6 million.

Meantime, the Georgian statistics office does not provide data for exports from Tajikistan in 1Q2023, as well as for the same period of 2022.
