Czech Republic plans to open an embassy in the capital of Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, February 16/ corr. Trend E. Hasanov / Ashgabat - the capital of Turkmenistan, which has recently been on a working visit, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolanek studied the possibility of opening the Embassy of the Eastern European countries, the official Turkmen sources said.

Czech chairmanship of the EU, which has an interest in the supply of Turkmen energy resources. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov was invited to visit Prague on 17 May at the summit of Nabucco gas pipeline project, which aims to open the way to the Caspian resources to Europe. In turn, Topolanek spring, is expected once again to visit Ashgabat to attend the conference under the auspices of the UN to ensure the security of international pipelines.
