President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov and Prince Albert II of Monaco have held a meeting during the 7thWorld Water Forum in South Korea.
Berdimuhammadov and Prince Albert II have ordered the foreign ministries of their countries to complete the work on creating political and diplomatic relations and subsequently open embassies, the message from Turkmenistan's government said April 13.
Moreover, during the talks, they exchanged views on the priority areas of bilateral relations, as well as the topical issues of the international policy.
The sides focused on the further development of relations between Turkmenistan and Monaco in the cosmic sphere: the first Turkmen satellite will be launched soon. It should be noted that Monaco has offered an orbital position for this satellite.
Moreover, Turkmenistan's president invited Prince Albert II to attend the festivities to be held in the country to mark the 20th anniversary of neutrality in December 2015.
