Turkmenistan receives new batch of agricultural machinery from US

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 9

By Klavdiya Romakayeva - Trend:

Another batch of tractors and units of the US John Deere has arrived at the disposal of private agricultural producers in Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing the press service of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

It is noted that today in Turkmenistan, thousands of John Deere machines are involved in agricultural production; they have long and firmly won the trust of machine operators. Therefore, the interest of entrepreneurs in this particular brand is natural.

"This is part of a large supply for entrepreneurs who can purchase equipment from an American company using a bank loan," the statement said.

John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co. KG is working hard to implement the second stage of a new supply of high-tech equipment to Turkmen buyers.

Since October last year, when the contract entered into force, more than $25 million worth of machinery has already been supplied to Turkmen entrepreneurs, another part of it is on the way or in the process of being shipped to Turkmenistan.

John Deere is the brand name of Deere & Company, a US corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment.
