BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 23. The volume of cement exports from Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan from January through July 2022 has been published, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.
During this period, Turkmenistan exported 11,500 tons of cement to Uzbekistan. Thus, Turkmenistan entered the top 5 largest cement suppliers to Uzbekistan in the first 7 months of 2022.
Furthermore, during the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported a total of 1.4 million tons of cement worth $52.5 million.
The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan with Turkmenistan for the first 7 months of this year amounted to 485.8 million dollars, which is 8.5 percent more compared to the same period last year.
