BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. Turkmenistan plans to increase the volume of foreign trade turnover to $19.4 billion in 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was stated by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at an expanded meeting of the government on February 10.
He noted that among the priorities of the country at present is the increase in incomes of the population, and improvement of the level of social and living conditions of the people by increasing by 10 percent the size of wages, pensions, state benefits, and scholarships of students.
At the government meeting, the results of work in the economic sphere for 2022 were summed up, priority tasks of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for this year were identified, and a number of other issues were considered.
