ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 15. Industrial enterprises in the Lebap region, located in the east of Turkmenistan, manufactured products worth more than 24.2 billion Turkmen manat ($6.93 billion) over the past year, Trend reports.
During the reporting period, enterprises achieved high growth rates in the manufacturing of industrial products, electricity, and food compared to the same period in 2022.
Furthermore, the share of state-owned enterprises in the region in the manufacturing of products amounted to more than 6.57 billion Turkmen manat ($1.88 billion).
Furthermore, the main part of the cost of manufactured products was formed at the expense of enterprises in the oil and gas industry.
Meanwhile, in recent years, Turkmenistan's industrial sector has been actively developing thanks to strategic investments in various industries, such as oil and gas, textiles, and chemical industries, which contribute to increasing production and exports of goods, increasing competitiveness in the world market, and improving the country's economic well-being.
