ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 26. Turkmen Kaolin OJSC, located in the village of Jebel in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan, produced 600 tons of enriched kaolin in January this year, Trend reports.
According to an official source, the enterprise was established by the Balkan quarries department of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan in partnership with the Derýaplastik Economic Society, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Furthermore, the company's production facility in Jebel is capable of producing 20,000 tons of enriched kaolin per year.
Turkmen Kaolin OJSC has manufactured almost 7,000 tons of products over the past year, and in the near future, the company plans to bring products to foreign markets.
At the same time, raw materials for production are extracted at a field near the village of Gyzylgaya in the Turkmenbashi district.
Meanwhile, enriched kaolin is widely used in the production of white cement, porcelain tableware, electrical insulators, paper, cardboard, rubber, cosmetics and perfumes, paints, and cleaning products.
