Trend:

The industrial inflow of natural gas and condensate with flow rate of up to 300,000-400,000 cubic meters per day has been obtained at the new gas condensate field "Tumaris" in Uzbekistan's Bukhara region, the press service of "Uzbekneftegaz" JSC company reported.

The gas has already been obtained in the process of testing the first exploration well located in the upper Jurassic sediments at the depth interval of 2028-2020 meters.

The new gas condensate deposit on the "Tumaris" field is situated in Rometan district in the vicinity of the state border between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The area is 13 square kilometers, it was prepared for exploratory drilling in 2017. The prospective resources are estimated at 5.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 131,000 tons of gas condensate.

In the nearest future, the gas condensate studies will be conducted at the exploration well No. 1 to clarify the parameters of the reservoir.

The exploration work will be continued at the Tumaris field with the drilling of the next exploratory wells No. 2 and No. 3 in order to further search for the identified hydrocarbon deposits.
