The volume of market services provided per capita from January through October 2020 reached 5,213,000 soums ($5,016), Trend reports citing State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
The growth rate of market services provided per capita in Uzbekistan for the reported amounted to 0.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
This indicator among the regions ranges from 24,967,400 soums ($2,402) in Tashkent city to 2,430,800 soums ($233) in the Surkhandarya region.
Some 301,225 service enterprises operated in the country as of November 1, 2020. The share engaged in trade activities prevails (42.2 percent) in the structure of operating enterprises and organizations related to the service sector.
As of November 1, 2019, 256,800 enterprises and organizations functioning in the service sector. Trade services in the overall structure accounted for 38 percent.
The volume of market services provided from January through October 2020 in Uzbekistan reached 177,997 billion soums ($17.1 million), and the nominal volume increased by 18,600 billion soums ($1.79 million).
The growth rate of market services provided for the reported amounted to 2.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
