IHCC proposed to work in parallel on the creation of a health insurance system in Uzbekistan, attracting the world's leading insurance companies - partners of the Saudi German Hospitals Group, Trend reports referring to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia.

The mentioned issue was discussed by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Maksudov with a member of the board of the Saudi German Hospitals Group, Chief Executive Officer of IHCC Sultan Butterjee during the meeting held in Jeddah.

Sultan Batterjee announced that the Saudi German Hospitals Group is part of the Bait Al Batterjee Holding, which is run by the Saudi Batterjee family. IHCC is also a member of this group, has 25 years of experience, is known as the leading design and construction company in the MENA region (the Middle East and North Africa) with extensive knowledge in the implementation of projects for the creation of turnkey medical cities.

According to Batterjee, to date, IHCC has built ten world-class hospitals in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. Currently, the company has begun construction of medical cities in Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Pakistan.

He also said that the Saudi German Hospitals Group plans to expand its presence in Central Asia as well and Uzbekistan may become a country where IHCC will build a medical campus.

According to Sultan Butterjee, health insurance cannot be dispensed within modern healthcare. Since the provision of medical services at an appropriately high level requires financial costs. In this regard, IHCC intends to work in parallel on the creation of a health insurance system in Uzbekistan, involving the world's leading insurance companies - partners of the Saudi German Hospitals Group.

Taking into account serious intentions to enter the markets of the Central Asian region, Saudi German Hospitals Group plans to create a Special Fund for the region, which will finance the Group's projects, including in Uzbekistan.
