The volume of exports from Uzbekistan to Canada in the first seven months of 2021 in monetary terms amounted to $109.3 million, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
According to the information, the country's total exports from January to July 2021 amounted to $8.1 billion.
The committee reports that the largest volume of Uzbekistan’s export during the reporting period accounted for China - $1.3 billion, followed by Russia - $1 billion and Turkey - $988.5 billion.
At the same time, Kazakhstan’s imports from Uzbekistan amounted to Kazakhstan - $655.1 million, Kyrgyzstan - $413.1 million, Afghanistan - $404.6 million and Tajikistan - $242.1 million.
In addition, Uzbekistan’s export to Iran for 7M2021 amounted to $114.4 million, Canada - $109.3 million ad Ukraine - $101.7 million.
Earlier it was reported that the Reconstruction and Development Fund of Uzbekistan will provide $100 million to the Export Support Fund to finance export-related trade and re-export operations. The funds are allocated at the request of the Export Promotion Agency for a period of five years at a rate of one percent.
