Prices of goods and services in the consumer market of Uzbekistan increased on average by 1.2 percent in November 2021, Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Since the beginning of this year, prices in the consumer sector increased by 8.6 percent. In annual terms, this figure reached 10.3 percent.
In particular, prices for food products rose on average by 1.9 percent over the month. Prices for non-food products for the same period increased by 0.8 percent and paid services to citizens added in price by 0.5 percent.
In annual terms, prices for food products rose by 13.4 percent, prices for non-food products increased by 7.9 percent, and prices for services rose by 8.1 percent.
In general, from January through November 2021, food products continue to hold the lead in the growth of prices. Prices for non-food products for the specified period rose by 7 percent, prices for services increased by 7.1 percent.
